This month I made the Eva Dress by Tessuti patterns in our Red Chambray Fabric.
The Eva Dress features a bodice that sits at a high waist and a panelled, lantern shaped skirt with side pockets. I made the option with sleeves but the pattern also includes a sleeveless option with additional bodice pattern.
Made in this red chambray fabric which has some structure gives it shape for the lantern skirt, but you could also do in a more drapey fabric to give it more swish and movement.
This pattern has good instruction with photographed pictures to guide you with sewing your garment, and with the addition of topstitching and binding allowing you to add some design elements of colour to your garment, as you could use a contrast colour binding and topstitching for more definition,
Below is a link to our YouTube video Sew-along to help anyone with their sewing.
For April's monthly make I will be making the Hughes Dress by the Friday Pattern Company in our Melissa Linen Viscose Fabric by Fabric Godmother.
Of course with a video sew-along!
Happy Sewing!
